I just got finished meeting with the owner
of the host hotel ( River Boat Inn). WOW what a fun weekend we are going to
have catch fish or not. She is going all out for us anglers. Friday and
Saturday night she is going to have live music for us, Cooking breakfast
free of charge and a bon fire Saturday night, and yes an open bar as
well. Friday night we will have the pre-registration at the hotel along with
some fishing seminars. Saturday night we will have a free dinner for all the
anglers at the hotel as well. There is plenty of parking for all the boats
along with electricity as well. As of right now she is holding all the rooms
for us from now until JUNE 1st so don't wait because they will go quick.
The hotel has everything from a $60 room to a $200 4-bedroom house. Most of
the rooms are queen but are big enough for a blow up if needed also. Hurry
up and get a reservation though why they are still there. Oh ya it's right
on the river a half mile from the launch site also.
This is going to be an awesome weekend for sure!!

Ken Lewis the Tournament Director of Duracats has donated six Duracat rods to the 2010 Madison Classic.
Steve Douglas of Monster rod holders has added a $250.00 bonus to the first place team if they have at least six Monster Rod Holders on there boat.
Lyle Stokes of Blackhorse Rods will be donating a rod for the big fish winner at the 2010 Madison Classic.
On June 25th Doc Lange will be putting on a Seminar of the proper use of the Anchor Retrieval System or ARS for pulling your anchor.
We currently have 70 boats that are preregistered for this event the possible current purse is up to
$19,000.00
Lie detector test will be conducted to the winning team and that cost will be deducted from the total purse unless we have a sponsor provide coverage for the cost of the test. We will keep you informed.
A first place finish is guaranteed $5000.00
